I have always wanted to collect something, but nothing ever really stuck. Well, this is it! I am collecting -- are you ready for it? -- Tea tags! Why tea tags? Well, I really loved taking tea time when I was in Argentina. It seems like a great time for everyone to be gathered together and just talk and enjoy one another's company. I don't think that kind of thing is done quite enough, so this is my journey to spend time with friends and try wonderful teas! Maybe somewhere along the line I will develop my own taste!
For my first collected tea tag, I spent the morning with my dear friend, Marnie, sipping a delightful peppermint tea. She thrust a box of tea under my nose and exclaimed that even the box smelt wonderful! It did not let me down; the tea was truly wonderful. It was only fresh and easy brand peppermint tea, but it was soothing and delicious.
I must admit that we did quite a bit more studying than talking. Studies show that if you are holding a warm drink, you are more likely to feel pleasant about others. If that's true, I certainly wouldn't want to try reading "The Origin of Species" without my peppermint tea.
